'YOU WILL DO IN 2 YEARS WHAT YOU DID NOT DO IN 10 YEARS'

THE BEGINNING

Pastor Sola stood on a message, from the Book of Genesis, where the LORD had said to Abram: “Get out of your country, from your family and from your father’s house to a land that I will show you.”, which urged him to leave his previous denomination where he had pastored for over 20 years with his wife Pastor Bimbo Fola-Alade. These words led to the birth of The Liberty Church (TLC), which was called to empower and liberate people, making them all that God has called them to be.

The vision was to create a vibrant, multicultural, and multigenerational church that could reach out to a captive generation. After much prayer and confirmation, PSFA obeyed the Lord’s Word, and the journey began in June 2015.

The church started with 30 people who supported the vision of our pastors, Pastor Sola and Bimbo Fola-Alade, including some of our leaders. The first three months were dedicated to laying a spiritual foundation for the church, through prayer, fasting, and fellowship. Within this period, the church grew from 30 to 200 attendees. Finally, on September 6, 2015, the first service was launched.

OUR BELIEFS

2020 was declared our year of Emergence at The Liberty Church and, indeed, this was the year that we emerged as TLC Global!

On January 4th, during the annual Goal Setting Seminar, Dr Sola Fola-Alade, the Visionary Pastor, prophesied that the future of the church would be online. Little did they know that this would become a reality for them. The church met face to face for the last time in March of the same year, at the 4-day Supernatural Shift Conference, which attracted thousands of people to London, UK. However, the next day, on March 17th, lockdown was announced in the UK as Covid-19 became a global pandemic. TLC pivoted accordingly, with timely and relevant messages being delivered through the virtual Global Shift Conference & Marketplace Shift Conference. The ministry grew in leaps and bounds, with our YouTube views reaching millions. We also extended our reach to regular attendees from Myanmar, Qatar, USA, Canada, and Nigeria.
