BAPTISM
What is Baptism?
Baptism is a significant act of obedience that publicly demonstrates our personal trust in Jesus for salvation. Just as Jesus was baptized during His time on earth. In baptism, believers are immersed in water, symbolising their identification with Jesus’ death and burial, and then lifted out of the water, representing their identification with His resurrection.
Can I be Baptised
Every individual who has decided to follow Jesus should be baptized. The sole requirement is that they have chosen to place their faith and trust in Christ.
Then Jesus came to them and said, ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.’” —Matthew 28:18–20
